Pune Hams and Amateur Radio Club (VU2PHQ) is the official representative body of amateur radio operators in Pune, India and is popularly known as “Pune HAMs”, reflecting its strong community identity . The club operates a VHF repeater (Callsign: VU2PHA) on 145.100 MHz (+600 kHz offset) and actively supports the growth and development of the amateur radio community.
Our activities include facilitating the conduct of ASOC (Amateur Station Operator’s Certificate) examinations, organizing regular monthly meetings, and hosting technical workshops. The club also provides guidance and mentorship to Short Wave Listeners (SWLs) and aspiring amateur radio operators. In addition, we actively support colleges and student-led amateur radio clubs across the region by assisting with training programs, workshops, and technical know-how.
We welcome licensed operators, aspiring Hams, SWLs, and anyone with an interest in amateur radio in Pune, India.
Through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community engagement, we aim to promote and strengthen the amateur radio ecosystem in the region.
